OLEX Appoints New Chairman and Business Development Director

Ex Senior Sennheiser and Dixons Carphone heads join Partnerships and PR specialist for next wave of business growth.

3rd January 2019, London, United Kingdom - OLEX Communications –a specialist agency offering Public Relations & Partnerships in the music and technology sectors, are pleased to announce two new senior appointments.

In a little over 18 months, OLEX has quickly identified itself as a leading agency acting on behalf of some of the world’s most respected brands in Music, Audio & Technology. Clients such as Bluesound, PSB Speakers, Bowers & Wilkins, Gregory Porter, Shure, Metropolis Studios, Singa, Clash Music and Rough Trade Records join the array of clients OLEX are pleased to offer Partnership Marketing and Public Relations support for.

In similarly quick fashion, OLEX are pleased to welcome Paul Whiting to the team, joining OLEX as Non-Executive Chairman. Currently a member of the advisory board at d&b audiotechnik and previously President of Global Sales at Sennheiser, Paul brings over 40 years of audio experience to the company. Paul will support and guide OLEX through their future growth plans with his wealth of expertise and impeccable track record.

Thomas Cullimore also joins OLEX as Business Development Director. Previously Category Manager/Buyer - Headphones and Mobile Audio at Dixons Carphone, Tom’s knowledge of the Consumer Electronics sector is second to none and will play a pivotal role in OLEX’s growth.

Tom brings new energy to the team and was instrumental in driving the Audio category at Dixons Carphone. Anything that Tom doesn’t currently know in Audio, isn’t worth knowing.”
